1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, subscribing to, or otherwise using Teen Homeschool Academy ("we", "us", "the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform.

Because the Platform is designed for teen students (grades 9–12), accounts and subscriptions are created and managed by a parent or legal guardian, who is responsible for their student's use of the Platform and agrees to these terms on the student's behalf.

2. Description of Service

Teen Homeschool Academy provides an online homeschool curriculum and management platform, including video lessons, digital workbooks, quizzes, grading, attendance tracking, certificates, an AI tutor, a moderated Pen Pals feature, and related tools for parents and students.

Course content, features, and availability may change over time as the Platform is updated and expanded.

3. Eligibility & Accounts

The primary account holder ("Parent Account") must be an adult parent or legal guardian. Student accounts are created by, and linked to, a Parent Account.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Parents are responsible for supervising their student's use of the Platform, including the Pen Pals messaging feature.

You agree to provide accurate information when creating an account and to keep it up to date.

4. Subscription & Payments

Access to the Platform requires an active paid subscription. Payments are processed securely by Stripe; we do not store your full payment card details.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the interval you select unless cancelled beforehand. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from your Parent Portal settings.

Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or explicitly stated otherwise at the time of purchase.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Platform, including but not limited to: sharing your account credentials outside your immediate family, attempting to access another family's data, uploading unlawful or harmful content, or using the Platform in a way that disrupts its normal operation.

The Pen Pals feature is intended for respectful, age-appropriate communication between students. All Pen Pal messages are reviewed by an administrator before being delivered.

6. User Content

Any files, answers, messages, or other content you or your student upload or submit through the Platform ("User Content") remains yours. By submitting User Content, you grant us a limited license to store and display it back to you and your family as part of operating the Platform.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any files or content you submit.

7. Intellectual Property

All course materials, videos, workbooks, quizzes, software, and branding on the Platform are owned by Teen Homeschool Academy or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may use them for your family's personal educational purposes only, and may not redistribute, resell, or publicly share course materials without our written permission.

8. Educational Disclaimer

Teen Homeschool Academy is a curriculum and learning-management tool. It is the responsibility of each family to understand and comply with their own state or region's homeschool laws, reporting requirements, and graduation requirements. We do not guarantee that use of the Platform alone satisfies any particular jurisdiction's homeschool requirements.

9. Termination

You may cancel your subscription and stop using the Platform at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in abusive behavior, or fail to pay applicable fees.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Teen Homeschool Academy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
